Projected capacitive screen is projected capacitive touch screen technology, touch screen panel can be detected when the finger touch location change of capacitance and finger, is calculated for multi-touch operation. The projection capacitance scheme is generally divided into two kinds of self-capacitance and mutual capacitance according to its scanning mode: the so-called self-capacitance is usually the capacitance of the scanning electrode and the ground. A transverse and longitudinal scanning electrode made of an ITO (a transparent conductive material) on the surface of the glass, which forms the poles of a capacitor between them. When touching with a hand or touching a pen, a capacitor is connected in parallel to the circuit, thus changing the overall capacitance of the scan line. In the scanning, the control IC scans the longitudinal and transverse electrodes in turn, and determines the coordinate position of the touch points according to the capacitance changes before and after the scan. The advantage of a self-volumetric scan is that the scanning speed is fast, scanning a scan period only requires scanning x+y (x and y are the number of scanning electrodes in the x and y axes). The disadvantage is that the ghost cannot be identified and the real touch can't be achieved.
