Tempered glass for touch screen

Tempered glass is widely used in the touch screen front cover lens, so what are its advantages?

1. The strength of tempered glass is several times higher than that of ordinary glass, and the bending resistance is improved.

2. The use of safety, its carrying capacity increased to improve the fragile quality, even if the tempered glass damage is also small pieces without acute Angle, the harm to the human body is greatly reduced.

3. Tempered glass has 3 to 5 times more rapid cooling resistance than ordinary glass, and can generally withstand temperature difference of more than 250 degrees, which has obvious effect on preventing thermal cracking.

What are the disadvantages?

1. The tempered glass can no longer be cut and processed, and the glass can only be processed to the required shape before tempering, and then tempered.

2, although the strength of tempered glass is stronger than ordinary glass, tempered glass has the possibility of self-explosion, and ordinary glass does not have this problem.

3. There will be uneven phenomenon on the surface of the tempered glass, and there will be a slight thickness thinning. The reason for the thinning is that after the glass is softened in hot melt, it is cooled rapidly by strong wind, so that the crystal gap inside the glass becomes smaller and the pressure becomes larger, so the glass is thinner after tempering than before tempering.

4. The flat glass after tempering furnace (physical tempering) is generally deformed, and the degree of deformation is determined by the process of equipment and technicians.
