Projected capacitive touch screen technology offers a whole new option for operation and design, as you've already learned from smartphone products.
Capacitive touchscreens do not require a driver, the operator simply moves a finger towards it to work. The finger brings about a change in volume, which is detected by the controller and converted into an X/Y position output. The sensors are drift-free, so their positioning is always accurate.
The projected capacitive touch screen supports multi-touch operation, gesture recognition and one to ten finger operation. They can be operated even with gloves and are not affected by wet environments or spraying water.
Our sensors can operate under glass up to 6 mm thick (or 3 mm plastic), resulting in a virtually unlimited lifespan. In addition to our standard capacitive touchscreens, WIWOTOUCH will also provide you with complete touch display solutions, as we have intensive co-operation with major well-known display manufacturers (BOE, SHARP, TIANMA, AUO and INNOLUX). In addition to displays, we can also provide custom PCB board services.
